In the autumn of 2024, we successfully wrapped up our hospitality project: a 203-room hotel in Lübeck, the second-largest city on the German Baltic coast.
Citygrove purchased the site, which had previously been a surface-level car park adjacent to the city’s central station, back in 2010. After securing the necessary building permits, we successfully pre-let the hotel to Premier Inn on a 25-year lease.
Lübeck, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site, stands out as one of Northern Germany’s most well-preserved ancient towns, and the hotel is quickly becoming a favourite among leisure and business travellers.
The professional team that brought this project to life included HTG Hoch und Tiefbau Gadebusch GmbH and Cumming Group. Additionally, the development earned a BREEAM excellent accreditation for its impressive sustainability features.
