Following our purchase in 2019 of this 4,500 sqm office building we completed a full-scale refurbishment, markedly upgrading its environmental performance. Taking a sustainable approach to design and construction, we procured a Cat A and Cat B fit-out under a single contract, significantly reducing the waste generated. As part of the SKA standard and best practice, our contractor recycled 94% of all waste materials. We achieved an SKA Gold award for the fit-out, a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating and an EPC rating of B(48), where it had previously been E(118).
We recently sold the building, which is located at Bristol’s leading out-of-town business park and is let to St James’ Place Wealth Management, for £20 million to the Duchy of Cornwall.
