Blackfriars Road

A new 23-storey hotel with 307 rooms, operated by Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity –  the upscale lifestyle brand of Staycity Group. Situated directly opposite Southwark Underground Station and within walking distance of Waterloo Station, the hotel offers exceptional transport connectivity across London, ensuring easy access for visitors, commuters, and locals.

The development features activated ground and mezzanine levels, accessible to the public, with co-working spaces, a café, a restaurant, and a bar. Street-level improvements along Blackfriars Road, such as seating and soft landscaping, will enhance the streetscape and create a more inviting environment for residents and visitors.

This marks the second project collaboration between Staycity Group and Citygrove, with Citygrove managing planning and construction. EPR Architects has also joined the team, their second partnership with both entities.

The project is expected to be completed in 2030.

Wyvil-Hof

Wyvil Court was a redundant 2,200 sq m office building located close to Vauxhall Station, offering excellent connectivity across London and presenting a strong opportunity to bring an underutilised site back into active and sustainable use.

Citygrove secured full planning consent from Lambeth Council in November 2025 for the redevelopment of the site into a 185-bedroom hotel.

Located at 10 Wyvil Road, the development will introduce Staycity’s boutique lifestyle brand, Wilde, to the wider Vauxhall / Nine Elms area. The scheme will feature a design led front of house offering, including a publicly accessible reception, bar, co-working space, café, pantry and artisan shop, creating a vibrant destination for both visitors and the local community.

Sustainability is a core focus of the development, with key features including on-site solar PV, air source heat pumps and green roofing, supporting the project’s wider environmental ambitions and aligning with the wider regeneration objectives of the area.

Lambeth-Mission

Das Projekt umfasst ein neues Hotel mit 137 Betten, das bereits an Premier Inn vermietet ist, eine neue Kirche für die Lambeth-Mission und 2 Wohneinheiten für die Kirche. Die neue Kirche, die einen Kirchenkomplex aus den 1950er Jahren ersetzt, wird an sieben Tagen in der Woche geöffnet sein und als Gottesdienstraum, Café, Gemeindezentrum und Treffpunkt für lokale Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen und Jugendgruppen dienen. Das Hotel erstreckt sich über 11 Stockwerke, und die Kirche weist eine moderne Fassade mit mehreren Ziegelbögen auf. Das Projekt wurde im Winter 2024 fertiggestellt, und wir haben die BREEAM-Zertifizierung "ausgezeichnet" erhalten.

Hannover

Completed in January 2026, this 220-room hotel occupies a nine-storey building in the heart of Hannover, directly opposite the central station. The property has been leased to Premier Inn on a 25-year term, securing a long-term income stream from one of Europe’s most recognised hospitality brands.

The project involved transforming a vacant office building acquired in 2019, breathing new life into an underutilised asset in a prime city-centre location. The scheme achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification, setting a high benchmark for sustainable hospitality development.

Düsseldorf

Wir haben ein neues Hotel mit 438 Zimmern in der Nähe des Düsseldorfer Hauptbahnhofs entwickelt, das auf der Grundlage eines 25-jährigen Pachtvertrags von Novum Hospitality aus Hamburg betrieben wird. Das Hotel mit dem Namen "The Niu" erstreckt sich über 13 Etagen und verfügt über eine große Terrasse mit Blick auf den Burgerpark, einen Co-Working Space und über 100 Parkplätze. Das aus Naturstein errichtete Gebäude hat die BREEAM-Bewertung "sehr gut" erhalten. Das Niu empfängt seine Gäste seit Juli 2021.

Lübeck

Im Herbst 2024 haben wir unser Hospitality-Projekt erfolgreich abgeschlossen: ein Hotel mit 203 Zimmern in Lübeck, der zweitgrößten Stadt an der deutschen Ostseeküste.

Citygrove erwarb das Gelände, das zuvor ein oberirdischer Parkplatz in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs war, im Jahr 2010. Nachdem wir die erforderlichen Baugenehmigungen eingeholt hatten, vermieteten wir das Hotel mit einem 25-jährigen Pachtvertrag erfolgreich an Premier Inn vor.

Lübeck, das von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt wurde, gilt als eine der am besten erhaltenen historischen Städte Norddeutschlands, und das Hotel entwickelt sich schnell zu einem beliebten Ziel für Freizeit- und Geschäftsreisende.

Zu dem professionellen Team, das dieses Projekt ins Leben rief, gehörten die HTG Hoch und Tiefbau Gadebusch GmbH und die Cumming Group. Darüber hinaus wurde das Projekt aufgrund seiner beeindruckenden Nachhaltigkeitsmerkmale mit dem BREEAM-Gütesiegel ausgezeichnet.

Travelodge

Citygrove entwickelte dieses 250-Betten-Hotel im Stadtteil 22@ von Barcelona, das für 25 Jahre an den Hotelbetreiber Travelodge verpachtet wurde. Es wurde im Februar 2013 eröffnet und an Standard Life verkauft.

Southwater-Platz

Wir wurden vom Telford & Wrekin Council als Entwicklungspartner für den Freizeitbereich der 250 Millionen Pfund teuren Erneuerung des Southwater Square in Telford ausgewählt. Die Bauarbeiten begannen im Jahr 2012 und wurden im Juli 2014 abgeschlossen. Das 100.000 m² große Projekt umfasst die Restaurantmarken Harvester, Chimichanga, Pizza Express, Zizzi, Bella Italia, Nando's und Wagamama sowie ein Cineworld-Kino mit 11 Sälen und ein Premier Inn mit 85 Zimmern. Eigentümer des Projekts ist M&G Property.

Royal Business Park

Wir haben die Baugenehmigung für dieses 131-Betten-Hotel ausgehandelt und es an Travelodge vorvermietet. Das Hotel wurde rechtzeitig zu den Olympischen Spielen 2012 in London fertiggestellt und entspricht damit den Zielen der Stadtverwaltung für die olympische Erneuerung. Das Hotel mit einem Wert von 20 Millionen Pfund bei Fertigstellung und jährlichen Mieteinnahmen von 650.000 Pfund ist im Besitz der Associated British Foods Pension Trustees Limited.

Westgate

In einem Joint Venture zwischen Citygrove und dem Rushmoor Borough Council wurde das Westgate-Projekt im Oktober 2012 eröffnet.
